Permission slips - a delightful ode the the the JOY that is ours for the taking. Within my own season of transition, I have needed to remind myself over and over again that joy is not meant to be a “crumb”, as Mary Oliver once said. But that it actually costs us great courage to choose joy in the midst of uncertainty.
This painting is a reminder that we have full permission to choose to seek and find the beauty all around us, and that as we do so, even more of it opens up and expands right before our eyes!
May we walk towards our hopes knowing that we have full authority and PERMISSION to go after the dreams we hold close to our hearts.
