This piece was inspired by the metaphor of “new wine” and the trading in of the old wineskins in order to be able to carry it. It is the transformation of the old for the new. The old thoughts and patterns we have carried for so long simply may not be able to hold the weight and capacity of what we are meant to carry next. This painting represents the new wine and new season we are being prepared for!
